Lisa and I were in Dayton a couple of months back participating in the Dayton Public Libraries’ first Independent (Indie) author book fair to learn how to get our books into the library system and gain insights from other authors.   Both Lisa and I picked up a couple of new books and I sold a couple.

We all had 2 minutes to share our story and information about our books.  This was a learning opportunity for me personally since I’ve never had to do a pitch about Make It Rain in less than 10 minutes.  Lisa (my wife) gave me a few helpful tips after the event was over and I’ve used them in subsequent lectures and discussions.  “The more you learn, the more you’ll likely learn.”
